Spring Vaccinations

On Monday, April 26, Dr. O'Leary, from Salmon Brook Veterinary Hospital, will administer the
spring vaccinations to client horses. They include Potomac Fever, East/West
Encephalitis, Flu/Rhino, West Nile Virus, Tetanus, Rabies and Strep, as well
as the semi-annual paste wormer for those horses on Strongid.
If you would like additional services or a different arrangement for your
horse, please talk to Amanda.
We expect Dr. O'Leary in the morning. The horses to be vaccinated will not
be available for riding or turnout until he finishes with them. Owners may
wish to schedule the day as a "rest" day, in case their horse is sore from
the vaccinations.
If you use a veterinarian other than Salmon Brook, you will need to arrange
to have your horse's spring vaccinations completed no later than mid-May.
Please tell Amanda or Michael when your vet is due.
