We are all really enjoying the mild January weather this year. It has allowed us to keep riding, training and showing even in the winter. On some mild days these past weeks, we have even been riding and occasionally taking lessons outside!
Congratulations to the VEC Middle School team for its Championship at the AVSS IEA show earlier this month. With this win, the team has qualified for Regional Finals in March. The team also had a fourth place finish among very stiff competition at Mystic Valley Hunt Club on Sunday, January 22. Congratulations to the team.
Great show at Oak Meadow yesterday (January 28). Grace and Levi were Champion Childrens' Hunter Horse, Cali and Ernie were Champions in Childrens' Equitation, Melissa and Max were Reserve Champions in Pre-Childrens' Hunter. Markie and Toast had great training rides and Markie and Heavon had some beautiful flat classes! Nice showing Valkyrie! Today the High School IEA riders are showing at Mt. Holyoke. Good luck!
