Valkyrie Summer Vacation Riding Camp
During the summer months, Valkyrie offers a Half-Day Camp Program for both beginner/novice as well as intermediate riders. In addition to a one hour mounted lesson per day, campers will learn horsemanship in a hands-on environment. Topics that may be covered each week include:
- Safety with the Horses
- Grooming & Handling
- Tack and Equipment
- Tacking Up
- Stable Management
- Breeds, Colors & Markings
- Feed, Nutrition & Health
- Horse Show Preparation
